Wonder Match Programme – launch events

by | Jul 6, 2018

Are you a scientist or an engineer who has a hunger to share the wonder of your research with others? Are you keen to learn more about how to engage with new audiences? Then Wonder Match could be perfect for you.

The National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE) is working with the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) on Wonder Match, a series of partnership-building events designed to support community organisations and researchers to work together to encourage diverse audiences to engage with STEM.

The events provide a great opportunity for community organisations and researchers in STFC related disciplines, or those who use STFC-funded facilities, to meet and develop project ideas together. Event participants can apply for a small amount of funding to enable them to further develop their approach.

Upcoming events include East Midlands (Leicester, 8 October), Scotland (Glasgow, 12 November), North West and West Midlands.
