Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic heritage are currently underrepresented in museums and archives in the UK.

The Social Responsibility team from the Faculty of Science and Engineering won Silver at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations North West PRide Awards on 7 November.

The University’s Global Development Institute hosted a special screening of the Ugandan film Boda Boda Thieves at the Millennium Powerhouse in Moss Side, as part of the ESRC’s Festival of Social Sciences.

We are delighted to share the news that our brand new IntoUniversity Manchester North centre has now opened in Blackley, on the site of the Co-op Academy North school.

The Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability teams are gathering information on how our staff are playing an active role in achieving sustainable development,’ and for every response £2 will be donated to the Big Change Fund to tackle homelessness in Manchester.

The sixth annual Greater Manchester Care Leaver Awards took place on 18 October, at the Royal Northern College of Music.

On Tuesday 16 October, over 1,300 students attended our annual Volunteering and Social Justice Fair.
