On 17 June the University will open up its doors to local residents and the general public for our first ever University-wide Community Festival.

In 2016, the University of Manchester raised over £75,000 for charity through the Great Manchester 10K.

Access All Areas is a volunteering area of the Students’ Union.

The Faculty of Science and Engineering are again taking a range of fun-filled activities to intu Trafford Centre on the weekend of 22 and 23 April.

The University has been awarded the gold standard of Transport for Greater Manchester’s new Travel Choices accreditation scheme.

By 2050 it is predicted that the world’s fisheries will have collapsed.

During British Science Week (14-17 March) over 1,000 pupils from 50 schools visited the University to take part in the Science Extravaganza organised by the Widening Participation Team.

Ready for Ageing Now?

This week the University celebrated ten years of a scholarship which has seen more than 200 students studying here before returning to their home countries in Africa and Asia to transform communities.
