At the beginning of February, the University, alongside other Corridor Manchester partners, hosted another successful cycle event.

In support of our social responsibility agenda, the University is once again taking part in Give and Gain Day.

27 January is the day for everyone to remember the millions of people murdered in the Holocaust, under Nazi Persecution and in the subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.

The Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences celebrated its first ever Better Worlds Awards on Monday 8 February.

Pharmacy undergraduate students have been leading on a campaign to halt the rise in antibiotic resistance by holding resistance awareness workshops in local high schools, with priority being given to widening participation schools in and around Greater Manchester.

A public meeting, hosted by Alzheimer’s Research UK in collaboration with The University of Manchester Institute for Collaborative Research on Ageing (MICRA), will take place from 3-5pm on Monday 7 March at Manchester Town Hall.

The annual announcement of Stonewall’s Top 100 is always met with great anticipation by those who have applied to be considered as one of the UK’s top Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) employers.

The University’s very own social justice festival, takes place on 9 March, right here on campus, in and around the Manchester Academy.
