Josh Award for Science Communication 2022 – applications close 24 April 2022
Are you passionate about communicating STEM (science, technology, engineering & maths) or exploring what a career in science engagement might look like for you? Got an idea for a project or event you’d like to develop with the support of the Science Museum Group?
The Josh Award is the UK’s national award for STEM communication. It is designed to recognise, celebrate and nurture emerging talent in the sphere of science communication. In addition to winning £2000 from the Josh Award Fund, the winner will get the chance to develop and deliver a new project or event for Manchester Science Festival 2022, a biennial festival produced by the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester. The project or event should showcase innovative practice in the field of STEM communication and explore the festival’s theme.
It is open to individuals and groups, involved in STEM communication and resident in the UK. We welcome applicants who will bring valuable difference to the sector, either through the audiences they work with or their creative practice.
Applications open on the 15 March 2022 and close on the 24 April 2022.
