On 26 April the 6th annual school governor conference “Providing a Whole Education for All: Inclusivity in a Diverse World” was held at Chancellors Conference Centre in Fallowfield.

11am – 4pm on Saturday 16 June.

Dr Cecilia Medupin of the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences is organising a Women in Environmental Science event at the University.

Dr Julian Skyrme, Director for Social Responsibility, took home the Institute of Directors North West Award for Corporate Social Responsibility at a ceremony last week.

Professor Amanda Bamford is announced as the University’s academic lead for environmental sustainability.

On 1 May we held our 4th annual Making a Difference Awards.

Our annual Making a Difference Awards took place on Tuesday 1 May in the University’s Whitworth Hall.

On the weekend of the 14 & 15 April, ScienceX returned to intu Trafford Centre.

Do residents in Manchester have to live surrounded by rubbish? Or can we change it? This is the big question being raised at A Rubbish Night at the Museum, an event taking place from 6-9pm on 19 April in The Study at Manchester Museum.
