Being Human is the UK’s only national festival of the humanities. The festival is running 14-23 November 2019 and number of events are taking place across Greater Manchester including:

Discovering Emigrant Children

Discovering Caribbean Family Memories

Music and Migration

Underlining the theme of Bengali folk music and its significance for the Bangladeshi (and Bengali) migrant diasporic population, two events showcase the rich heritage of these traditions for younger generations of Bangladeshis.
