Showcasing snippets from this year’s nationwide celebration of the humanities themed around ‘Renewal’ (11–20 November), we will be previewing a festival programme that showcases the best in the latest humanities research, exploring everything from COP26 in Glasgow to Caribbean kitchens in Lincoln.

Hosted by the Being Human festival director Professor Sarah Churchwell, we are also delighted to be joined by special guest Lemn Sissay OBE, who will share a few thoughts on the importance of the humanities.
