At this year’s Manchester Science Festival, there will be a Science Slam, in which scientists and poets will work together to create science poetry and then perform it at an evening of celebration.

The event itself will be on Thursday 22 October 2015 from 19:30 in the Nexus Arts Café in the Northern Quarter, but we are are looking for scientists to take part in this incredible adventure!

We will be providing a full day of training on Saturday 19 October at the Museum of Science and Industry, where we will be teaming up a group of Manchester-based scientists with some of Manchester’s finest poets to begin work on their Science Slam pieces.
